I very much enjoyed Mr. Russell's knowledge and enthusiasm he shared in this book. More than a travelogue, Mr. Russell created a delightful guidebook for those wanting to explore and learn more about the great Southwest that only Arizona can provide. Side stories and colorful historic references made this an informative read. My list of "must see" places on my next trip has grown due to this book. Mr. Russell provides wonderful travel tips and laces his stories with humor. Again, good read!Product details

Great source for trips off the beaten path with a focus on RVs. Been to AZ and visited some of the places mentioned and the book is spot on. Can't wait to check out some of the other spots mentioned.
Nick is a splendid writer and, in this book, he identifies many of Arizona's outstanding "must see and experience" sites. For each site he provides useful and inticing information which prompts the reader to want to go for the experience.
Nick took me on a trip to places in Arizona I have never seen, and even those I have seen he gave me new insights about them. I really like Nick's way of seeing the world!
I thought I knew a lot about places to visit in AZ until I read this book. It's amazing the places I still get to explore because I didn't know about them. If you're looking to explore AZ, you need to add this book to your library.
As an historian, archaeologist, I appreciated the author's research. Arizona is a favorite place and I've read numerous books about it, and I did enjoy this book. However, I did feel it a bit overpriced for the length. A
This is a good book to plan your Arizona trip. It breaks out each area so you can make sure you don't miss anything worth seeing. This book & the internet is all I need to plan my trip. Also see Arizona Route 66 if you are interest in taking a ride down Route 66.
We had just a limited time in AZ and we had never been before. This book gave us some great locations to check out. I liked the style and the ammount of detail that the author provided
